Fully titled "Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing", this April 2009 report is a collection of position papers on essential areas of security in the cloud. It feels like a conference proceeding or collected volume of contributions by different authors. The individual sections are not fully consistent with each other but the Cloud Security Alliance did an impressive job of getting comprehensive information out quickly. No comparable collection is available as of now and therefore our editors rate it "must read".
